We all admire happy, motivated, confident and energetic people. When we use our intellectual brain we produce serotonin and other chemicals and hormones which control our well being. This leads to a happier outlook, healthy eating and enjoyable exercise, so we too can be that person we so admire and want to be.
The pressures of life can get on top of us, sometimes the strain starts to tell in our work and family lives, or we just get used to living negatively. The typical symptoms include having difficulty getting to sleep, waking during the night and not being able to get back to sleep, or not being able to wake easily and still being tired and low.
We start to accept our situation thinking it is normal, unaware that we can change ourselves at very little cost and in a relative short period of time. We can suffer from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression and many other illnesses, all of which can disturb our normal sleep patterns, making the cycle difficult to break.
